Bruno Teixeira, known artistically as Sepher (b. 1997, Amadora), is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice moves between muralism, illustration and animation. His work is rooted in the experiences and urban landscapes of the Linha de Sintra, the area where he grew up and which continues to play a central role in shaping his visual language and imagination.
Through characters, environments and fictional narratives, Sepher transforms everyday experiences and memories into worlds where reality and imagination coexist. His work explores social issues and experiences shared by suburban communities, reflecting on the feelings, relationships and tensions that emerge from these environments. Surreal elements become a way of extending and reinterpreting reality, allowing him to approach what he observes and experiences through a personal visual language.
Moving between the physical scale of murals and the possibilities of illustration and digital animation, Sepher develops a practice centred on storytelling and experimentation. His work often begins with concrete references, but moves beyond documentary representation to create images open to interpretation, where memory, fiction and lived experience intersect.
