Onde te ensinam a querer pouco, a esperar pouco, a ocupar pouco espaço.

EN:

I started painting at night, while the city slept. No invitation, no authorization, no audience. Just the wall, paint, and the silence of the streetlights that illuminate the streets in yellow.

I grew up in a place where ambitions die young. Where they teach you to want little, to expect little, to take up little space. There are those who refuse. I come from a world that taught me to solve, to improvise, to ask no permission. That showed me urgency is a creative material.

I paint on a large scale because I refuse to accept that these stories be treated as small. Each piece carries the voice of those who were silenced before they could speak, the kid who grows up hearing that art is for others, that dreaming big is for others.

My work is a declaration of existence. And that the only validation that matters is the work itself.
